Among U.S, users 18 years old and up (especially 18-25-year-olds), 18 million people "have reported symptoms related to cannabis use disorder." Neuroscientist Yasmin Hurd says "Until we do research on the drastically transformed cannabis in all its forms, I think putting them under the umbrella of a safe, legal drug is wrong." Of adult users in Colorado, 51% use cannabis daily, though few (only 15.4%) are aware of the risks.
