Key Findings: The solutions in e-cigarette devices and vapor contain harmful chemicals like antifreeze (which can poison children and adults through swallowing or skin contact), and carcinogens like nitrosamines which can cause cancer. Secondhand smoke/vapor from e-cigarettes (which can be used to vape marijuana) is harmful to growing lungs. "The American Academy of Pediatrics joins the CDC to remind parents that e-cigarette use is never safe for youth, young adults, or pregnant and/or breastfeeding women."
